looking and analysing different genres and types of music videos i have realised that some music videos for some genres actually have the same dress code, settings and props. for example Rap, R&B and Hip Hop have all the same structure where there is all big houses that re decorated with class objects and with money and alcohol laying around to give the same vibe and atmosphere. there is usually expensive cars included and other expensive vehicles like yachts and planes. costume wise the female contributes and female artists all wear the same costume witch is either bikinis or any outfit that defines their assets. when it comes to male artists in these genres they all have the same dress code which is big fury coats, suits, coded tops and bottoms and most importantly gold/silver jewellery like watches, chains, rings and sun glasses.
for our music genre we have realised that all the artist that sing in these genres wear a similar scheme of dress code. they all wear casual clothes both men and women. they tend to wear shirts and casual jeans. for the settings it is not similar but could be for example if it was a band playing it would be on a stage and this could be located anywhere as long as there is a stage for them to perform on and this would be there base setting and track. it could always consist of having settings like a house, calm area, field, forest or even in the city somewhere.
looking at props i believe that we wouldn't have much of a choice, well is all relays on the song we are choosing to produce. i believe we would have the choices of glasses, maybe a musical instrument and more.
