evaluate the li sync tutorial

Evaluating our lip sync tutorial

In our lip sync tutorial exercise we went for a simple and calm theme with the editing. we didn't use any special effects for example slow motion, fades, filter and more. We basically followed Vernallis's theory with the plain and simple structure for music videos. We had our several base tracks and other cut shots to edit the video so it has a structure that suits with the genre of the music video.

Our music video near enough followed the conventions of Vernallis's theory for example the singer/singers would be framed still in a camera shot, the cameraman would do a consistent shot of one shot. we kept the  camera still on a tripod so there wasn't any other shaky movement or slips when filming. Alternatively we went on track with the other conventions of a music video for example cut/jump shots that suited the timing of the beat. the singer made constant eye contact with the camera when acting for the music video,

Because there was two singers in the video we had to structure the actors in a way where the position they stood or the move they would act would match the structure of the song and would be parallel with the rhythm. When doing this we had some problems that we had to go through for example the head space on the screen and that the actors where lined up correctly with structural grid on the screen.
