skills development

The most substantial difference we made this year in terms of planning compared to last year is the amount that we tailored our music video to a specific audience. Last year we had very few blogs relating o target audience, although i think that audiences differ greatly in regards to tv and music. You only listen to music you like (or want to like) whereas people watch whatever tv is on so the target audience is less concentrated but it may have a larger viewing amount. A lot of people have been saying that there was a lot more planning that went into these music videos, which I agree with, but I disagree with the storyboarding aspects. Due to the fact that ours is very highly narrative,  we had to keep to a strong plan for them sections but base tracks are a lot less rigid and can be thrown about.
