Questiion 1: notes and preperations

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?  

 In terms of usage:
In our music video we have definitely taken on the conventions of an alternative music video in the sense that it is very simplistic and makes use of the natural environment without the use of dramatic props and costumes.

In terms of development:
to develop forms and conventions we included a narrative in order to show our capabilities in producing something within the video which would immediately appeal to western viewers as it is typical of western music videos to have a narrative in majority of genres that are around.

In terms of challenging:
we did this by not including any bright synthetic colors or edits we decided to keep these to a minimum to create a clear distinction between our chosen genre and to also give the music video a unique edge.
