Editing session 14/11/2014

Today in our editting session, Ebony and I almost finished editting our rough version of our music video. We incorporated more of the narrative into our music video & have added more location into our video as before we only had shots from outside in our music video but now we have shots from inside a house. In addition to this, we have added multiple effects such as slow motion, fast motion and fades. We have also tried to perfect our editting to the beat or according to the shot, which I think is almost getting there.

Adding the shots from inside of the house. We added this shot and some close ups. We also slowed the pace of the video down from 100% to 50%. Sometimes we thought that the video would benefit from being especially slow, so in that case we would change it from 100% to either 30% or 20%.

Close up of performer that we added.

We have started to add cut aways into our music video as we finished adding in most of our basetracks (kind of) and our narrative. This is a cutaway of some geese but there are others of the performer and narrative cutaways.

Another cutaway of the performer in a nice location.

The start of the narrative from inside a house.

Experimenting with shots of the performer. We decided that we liked this shot and used it in a jump cut and slowed it down.

This is a picture of one of mine & Ebony's favourite basetrack as there is a lot of movement of the camera and the artist looks convincing. We often revert back to this base track as it very reliable and other basetracks are not so much.
