ancillary work; digipack production stages.

in todays lesson i designed ,y front cover of my album. i used images that i have produced and used before and are primary sources and not taken from the internet. the following images are screen shots i took as i was creating my album cover.

in this image you could see that i have started by inserting my front image with "Iolo" whom is my singer and i have used a image with him on the front for synergy purposes. i also added the other half of my front cover. you could see how i am editing and using Hue/saturation as an filter and playing around with the colour so it matches the colour of my other image of Iolo.

Here you could see that i have added my title and album cover. i used the font "Times New Roman". i placed it in the top right corner because when designing digipacks your not meant to place the title or the album name over the singer/artists face.

Here you could see me opening up the files that was made by our teachers so we have access to original bar codes, record labels and other signs and logos that are necessary that can be used in our work. this is the barcode i used for my digipack.

Here you could see the final product and the finished version of my digipack. i have added the songs that are in the album, the record labels, the distributors name, and the catalogue number and barcode.

This last picture shows the part where i had to cut out a section of the picture of Iolo and used it for the spine of my album cover.
